Coaching engagement

DevOps Enablement Sprint

A short, coached stretch that leaves your engineers owning branching strategy, rollback drills, and pipeline changes without permanent outside ownership.

DevOps Enablement Sprint

Purpose

An enablement sprint is for teams that have already seen the audit findings—or already know the pain—and need practice, not another slide deck. We work beside your engineers on a short backlog of pipeline and release improvements.

Typical outcomes

  • Named owners for build, deploy, and rollback runbooks
  • At least one rollback drill executed with notes on what failed in the drill itself
  • Documented branching or trunk rules that match how people actually merge
  • A lighter pipeline for the hottest service path, with fewer manual gates

Included

  • Kickoff backlog shaping (half day)
  • Up to three pairing blocks per week with your nominated engineers
  • Async review of pull requests that touch CI/CD definitions
  • Closing retro with a keep/stop/start list

Not included

  • Permanent staff augmentation
  • Rewriting application code outside the delivery path
  • Guaranteeing zero incidents after the sprint

Next step

If you already have an audit report (ours or another), attach a summary when you write to us. We will propose a two- or three-week plan sized to your squad.
